A rich and smooth Margaux.
The dense deep purple wine with notes of vanillin, dark cherry and flowers on the nose, has a palate of black currants spring flowers and minerals, it is medium to full bodied, with some underlying tones of roasted coffee a soft, round wine with plenty of spicy, ripe berries in the finish.
Château Siran is one of the oldest estates in Margaux and for the last 150 years has been in the same family. Drinking well from 2015 and with further 10 years ageing potential.
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvingon, Petit Verdot
Roasted meats, Turkey or hard cheeses.
