Pomerol – Bordeaux

Château La Patache 2021 is a structured, terroir-driven Pomerol made predominantly from Merlot, with a small percentage of Cabernet Franc. The fruit is sourced from gravel and clay soils typical of the appellation, and harvested by hand to ensure optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by aging for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels, approximately one-third of which are new. The resulting wine is marked by firm tannins, moderate alcohol, and a precise expression of dark plum, graphite, and subtle oak spice. It is a focused, age-worthy wine that reflects careful vineyard selection and restrained winemaking.
